National Maritime Museum

Purpose built outstation of the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich. There are in the region of 40 boats, a discovery quay and viewing tower and much more.

Old Guildhall Museum

Situated in a 15th century building the museum contains information regarding local history and shows exhibits about smuggling, fishing, boat building, minerals in fact everything that Looe has been connected with over the years.

Merchant House Museum

Houses information and exhibits relating to Plymouth long and rich local and marine history. Includes exhibit about the Eddystone lighthouses.


The Royal Cornwall Museum

The museum is housed in River Street in what was originally the Truro Savings Bank and later became the Henderson Mining School. It is a fine building designed by Philip Sambell.
